Oxted Pet Sitter

About us - Wendy and Nick Collister, husband and wife team at Oxted Walkies

I am Wendy, the co-owner of Oxted Walkies and Oxted Cat Care. I have two grown-up daughters.  We adopted a beautiful Beagle, Bella in March 2018, and an adorable Rough Collie, Harriet in May 2019. We have been dog owners for most of our lives. Thoroughly trustworthy, having previously spent over 25 years working for a large, professional public sector organisation, I am now pursuing a passion for animals and set up Oxted Walkies and Oxted Cat Care in 2013. I am a certified member of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters (NarpsUK). I have completed the NarpsUK Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers Business qualification and Level 1 of the Glen Stanford Canine Psychology and Behaviour Course. In 2013 and 2014, I was a volunteer at Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge and have also spent some time as a volunteer for the Cinnamon Trust, a specialist charity to help older people with their pet care.

I am Nick, the co-owner of Oxted Walkies and Oxted Cat Care. I have three grown-up daughters. I have previously spent 30 years working as a technical illustrator for the army. I have a keen interest in dog behaviour and took our old dog Toby to dog obedience, agility and tricks classes at Warlingham Dog Club. He achieved his Bronze Good Citizen's Award, and won awards for best progress in his class and for best rescue dog! Like Wendy, I have also undertaken training with Glen Stanford, and have completed the Level 2 Canine Psychology and Behaviour Course.

Wendy, Toby and Mollie meet Noel Fitzpatrick, Channel 4's "The Supervet", one of the heroes of the pet world!
